Just a bit, the seasons when we played him at Prop was his best for Wigan IMO. He was immense, he stood tall and carried our pack through the most of the season.

They've removed any topic about him on the VT

Just shows how rlfans can't appreciate a true legend when he is from Wigan.

Danny Sculthorpe. They clashed in a tackle.

Personally I'd put him a level down from those two - two of the most gifted players in rugby history - but a level up from Sculthorpe.

In terms though of one man's contribution to a club over an extended period of time I don't think Farrell's will ever be matched, he stands alone for me. What he did in breaking into the great Wigan side at such a young age for a forward and then in the latter part of his career carrying a mediocre side, will never be equalled.

A true legend. Best of luck to him in whatever he goes on to do.

A true Wigan great I wish him success in his coaching role, I'm sure one day he will come back to Wigan.

wigan_knight wrote:Hows wigans handling of the media part Farrells fault ??

one bad move in 14 years of sweating blood for this club..makes the man not wigan through and through.

The facts or he got a unbelievable deal for his age and stage of his career.
Wigan snatched RU hands off when offered the deal.

Now where have I said anything apart from I do not believe he is Wigan through and through? Would it satisfy you if I said I thought he was 95% Wigan?

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

Nope - It was the handling of The Faz situation that put us over the cap. Read my post again.
