He's God :D

No in my honest opinion I’ve never been a big fan and that goes all the way back when he didn’t pick Leeds players for GB despite them having better seasons.

The problems at Wigan like Bradford I feel don’t belong just with the coach and the players. Nobel IMO has done his job of saving Wigan from relegation now its time for him to go because he’s not the coach who’ll take you to Old Trafford!

Red Hot Jalapeno wrote:Not at all Jonh. My reaction to the Bradford win was because you and others had gone on and on that Noble did not have a clue how to coach anything other than 5 drives and a kick. Unfortunately you changed your argument after that win to the consistency one. If you want to keep blaming Noble when we lose you have to be prepared to take the flak back when we win.

As you say i will fight to the end for Noble not because i dont want to be proven wrong but because i believe he is a good coach. You obviously think hes a poor coach and have stated in the past he won things with Bradford by luck. Just because you dont agree with my thoughts does not mean i should change my opinion to suit yours. If we all agreed on everything then forums like this would be pointless.

Once again making things up.

The difference is I am happy to praise him when it is deserved, not enough sadly, where you will fight to the hilt even in the face of the evidence.

But fair play to you, at least you are stiking to you guns, although if you think that things are acceptable at the moment im not sure what it would take to have you criticise him.

If you claim he is a good coach, what is your opinion of his defensive structures.

No it isnt, i'd rather play pretty and lose and more to the point get value for money. Noble's style is all about a tight six in defense around the play the ball and biff n bash on attack. If Feka and Hock can not run over them or Tommy side steps through where knackered. I hope they prove me wrong against Saints (God i hope they do). Leeds and Saints make a lot of handling errors in their games because they keep the ball alive especially in their own half believe it or not. We need to use the multi-tude of backs we have to good effect as we are thin on the grounds with forwards.

The new Saints statue looks like Andy Farrell!!

This is the most frustrating thing for me, we play a style that totally exposes our weakness' and rarely highlights our positive aspects within the team.

I mentioned on another thread about Noble that he may not want to stay.
He may get the England job after they've kicked out Smith.
The way Bradford are going McNamara isn't looking good.
He could return to Bradford. If they don't get into the top eight I can't see McNamara lasting beyond that. McNamara may be moved out anyway.

Alex why lock the thread,it was still been disscused if you read the RFLs summary of the fight you will see that they said that there were 3 Wigan players on to one and Mason went to help him.
