We've got to try and control Brett Hodgson, Robinson and Scott Moore working around the middle if we're to win the game on Friday.

If we limit their damage we'll win the game imo.

Ainscough's doing great but how many tries does anyone think he'd have scored playing on the right wing? Not a lot probably.
Attack wise Carmont is the best centre we've had since Renouf.
He gets his wing man away very often. On the right side that just does not happen.
As for Pryce, I hope they persevere with him. Two games in is no time to judge him after two seasons out. He's massive and when fit he'll be a great addition to the squad.
Ainscough just needs to keep going as he is, six tries in five games is excellent.

What's all this talk of putting Phelps back into the centres and Bailey to the SR?

Don't we learn from past errors/mistakes? Phelps and Roberts were defensively very week, it just didn't work, we were leaking in tries before it was fixed by moving Bailey back to the centres. I don't rate Phelps as a centre one bit, was better on the wing, can't believe we bring in such Aussies from the other side of the world. Why fly him all the way out here?

Learn from mistakes and move on.

Additionally why not stick to giving one of the young lads a run in? Look how well it's worked with Ainscough and Tomkins. Since Phelps has been injured we've improved across the backs.

Give Mossop/Farrell/Flanny a go, you never know they might just prove to be worthy of being in the 17/19.
By doing this it sends out a good message to the young lads and the squad, letting them know hard work and playing well pays off. Don't put cr*p Aussies back in.

Speaking of Aussies it was a joy to see Timmy Smith and Amos hanging around King St in the early hours of Sunday morning. Look really affected by their recent drop from the team. :?

Oh come on love give it a rest. Both the teams they played in won this weekend, No game till Friday night, they are just normal people who enjoy a night out. What did you expect? Too see them up bright and early Sunday morning enjoying tea and biscuits together at Bettys's cafe?

I'm just not a fan of Wigan 'professional' players hanging outside of clubs at 4am.

As long as they turned up to training this morning in good condition what's the problem? If they don't fine/sack/drop them.

Well obviously I prefer a 'tighter ship' than you.

There's more to being a professional than just 'turning up'.

What were you doing in King street at 4 a.m.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row
