People talk about Mathers being a 'cheap shot' merchant, but regardless of how much derserved criticism he gets, I don't think it's fair to call him a dirty player.

He just has a poor technique.

Tickle went to Hull and then got player of the season.

Tickle's probably at Wigan was his attitude that reflected onto his performances on the pitch.

I don't regret that WE got rid of him, I just regret HE didn't show enough effort.

In games against Hull whilst at leeds he was always a player that would have that extra niggle and that along with his poor technique especially on Motu with his knees at Cardiff most FC fans see it that way.I flaming well hope this is all a load of people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 6,543

I think even tickle knew he had to get away from wigan, there was something wrong there. As said he had an awesome 1st season at Hull but his second was IMO average.Thankfully he seems to have started this season like his 1st for us.

Yeah, he did need to get away from Wigan. But believe me, the reason was nothing to do with Rugby League.

And who said Noble doesn’t know anything about Rugby league? He’s gone up a notch in my estimation, he’s now on notch one!

Tactical master stroke. Realising Hull have made an impressive start to the campaign, how does he halt them, by sending agent Mathers – genius!!!

I know we’re short in the backs but Richard, please no!

I'm devastated.

No way,no and never.
I'd rather have Marshall Mathers at FB.
