IMO we should be looking to rock the boat at Saints in a massive way and take the wind out of them just a little bit more.
you proved my point with your first answer mr "100%" Warrior you were NOT there at the reserves meaning you know jack all about the situation so don't start thinking you can have any opinion whatsoever oh and as for my GCSEs i past those years ago and before you mention punctuation i don't bother i will remind you of how pointless your "opinion" was if/when he is wearing a Wigan kit next season. there you go a full stop just for you.
100% pr1ck!! more like, I thought this was a forum??? a place where people discuss things about Rugby League, oh sorry no, this is the place where somebody posts something that they have seen or have an opinion and then one of the "select few" quickly rubbish it and then move on!! What a tool!
I haven't read anything on here about Brough signing for wigan, the poster WiganrRL said he had seen Brough talking to Noble at the reserve game today. That is absolutely true, he watched some of the game then went into the main building and met with Noble and a bloke who is in authority at wakefield. Maybe an agent but he is definitely something to do with Wakey as he was calling the shots when we played the Wakey reserves at Orrell a few weeks ago. I personally found this quite strange as he certainly wasn't there to watch the game as he only watched about a third of it, and he left straight away after coming out of the main building with the same man who was this time carrying some sheets of paper.
Make of it all what you will but nobody is saying that he has signed for us, just merely provoking conversation and asking other peoples opinions about this. I personally feel it is just the first of several informal talks with clubs about the possibility of signing.
Now lastly try and shoot me down 100% warrior or should that read 100% keyboard warrior??

2008 was a great season for Griffin and resulted in him being selected for England to face Wales in a World Cup warm-up clash, with Griffin narrowly missing out on a place in the 24 man squad. His blockbusting carries are often complimented with a steely hard working defensive game and deft handling, and he is sure to lead the charge for the claret and gold in 2009. With huge physical presence, ‘Griff’ knows his way to the try line and his two tries in Round 8 helped the Giants to a famous home win over St Helens. He will be looking to back up his efforts from 2008 onto the engage Super League XIV campaign and continue to establish himself as one of the top front rowers around.

The Scottish Captain returned to Belle Vue last season after spells with York City Knights, Hull FC and Castleford Tigers. Brough was arguably the stand-out performer for the Wildcats last year and his success earned him the captaincy of the Scotland team which travelled to the World Cup in the Autumn. The scrum-half’s form last year saw him awarded the Albert Goldthorpe Trophy by the League Express for his consistent performances throughout the season. With one of the best kicking games in the game, Brough will no doubt be leading the Wildcats attack in 2009.

Unsure about Brough. Great on his day but there a few negatives attacked to him. Off-field issues, is he another big fish in a small pond and do we want to break up a very promising partnership of Leuluai and Tomkins?

What point exactly did I prove? That I had something else on other than going to watch the reserves?
If it is true, fair enough but until I read a confirming news bulletin that Danny Brough has signed for Wigan I will not treat this as a "signing".
I don't see why your getting so aggravated - we have so many rumours of 'definite player signings' on here you'd think we were the RL Real Madrid, and thus due to such b*llocks rumours 99% of the time most people - myself included choose not to believe any such rumour (like your's) until we see proof ie. an official announcement.

Is that how low your intelligence is? Resorting to insults?
Pathetic.
Never denied it was true that DB was there - I questioned the original poster's theory that he was signing for us.
Why would IL/BN make it so obvious?
Why wouldn't DB just come down to the club when there were no fan's to witness it?
Just doesn't add up IMO.
And lastly I can't get to most games for reason's which have no concern and should have no concern to you - I go when I can go. If you have a problem with that feel free to PM me, otherwise let's get back on topic.
sean mcrea , paul wood and stefan ratchford were also at the game , just to point out that not everyone who goes to a reserve match is going to sign for us
Probably nothing in this one. I don't think we even need a half back to be honest, bring in a really really good prop, two if we still have some money knocking about. Then after Riddell's contract is up we can decide whether we want to keep him or bring in a half back with Lulu playing hooker.
