There are no rules around the 50% limit now anyway, so it is up to IL what he wants to spend on the cap (up to the limit obviously). Weren't your cheapest match tickets something like £12-14 last season? At most grounds the cheapest ticket is £17. That adds up.
I'm surprised about the merchandise comments though. I sometimes think that is where clubs like Wigan struggle, as they are slightly limited with design to keep the fans happy, however it makes it easy for fans to wear old kits without feeling out of place. As a Wire fan, our kits are sufficiently different enough each year to consider purchasing. If we had white with a P&B v each year, I wouldn't buy one every season.

If we have another 20k on the cap why not offer part of this or all of it to blowother clubs offers out of the water, cause we are not gonna get much with 20k even if we do send players out on loan.
