In the same way that people are backing Pryce, I'm going to back Goulding to succeed. He was made a scapegoat many a time last season, and most of the time it was unfair. IMO he has the ability to be a good SL centre for us, much in the way Pryce has.
When MM and SW took over they said about 'clean slate for everyone' it seems some people on here have forgotten that and are content in keeping on bringing up past seasons. They no longer matter, 2010 under the new regime matters. Let's see how both Pryce and Goulding and every other player who has come in for harsh criticism fairs this season. Until then I don't think it's fair to A. Hope someone fails, B. Not back any player, C. Use an injury as an excuse to get rid.
For once, back the team and it's players. I for one hope several people have to eat their words at the end of this season.
Pryce has dislocated his shoulder again ive been told. Waste of space its going to be 1 thing after another with him. Send him to Celtic when hes fit, reserve grade is going to do him no good at all.

Couldn't agree more. It's been said a million times but everyone deserves a fair crack of the whip under this new regime.
Then after a few games into the season and a few dropped balls and mistakes we can resume are badgering of players we don't like.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!
View Pryces injury as his first one at the club, fresh slate and all that, I for one will be egging him on all season and have faith in MM and SW to get him firing on all cylinders.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

I can't see him taking a shirt off Gleeson or Carmont. 2012 is possible though as Carmont will be off contract

Carmont is off contract at the end of 2010, and has to meet certain criteria to activate the second year of his deal.
I like Carmont but if Pryce is not proven by the end of this year to take Carmonts place for 2011, i hope he does not manage to activate the second year option, there are some classy outside backs available next year who will give us stability long term.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
