As I said in another thread, I was on the same flight back as the players on Tuesday morning and every single player was more than happy to sign autographs and pose for photos with my son and other kids. It went some way to overcoming his disappointment at the on field performance.
i was on that flight too and Gleeson actually apologised to my mate for coming out and watching us lose, my mate told him to not be daft (don't know if he'd have said the same if it was pryce but never mind) but just shows their not as clueless as some think.
these lads are normal humans who feel disapointment and don't lose on purpose and they too like to see kids coming to games and like to help and promote the game when they can just like we do. They all looked knackered and gutted on the plane, just as we did. Glad something good came out the of it all.
