Obviously I will get shot down by the "Sun shines out of Lockers ar$e" brigade but the telling thing about tonight was the way we "ambled" to scrums when 14 points down.

The blame here lies firmly with the "Captain" <-------- What a laugh.

If ever he needed to earn his position it was tonight, and he failed AGAIN.

We need a bloody leader and Lockers is not it.

The only current SL coach I'd consider pursuing is Justin Morgan. And now a Rovers fan will come on this board with some rubbish about him not wanting to join a rubbish club like Wigan.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

And just what purpose would that serve? If we continue as we are any knew coach will have a mountain to climb to get the teams confidence back up and playing again.

Noble needs to go now for the good of the team. The longer he stays the worse the players confidence will become.

There is no point in suggesting Nobby should go UNLESS someone better is available to take his place...there isn't one I can think of.
For me, the problem is with the players on the pitch, way too many average players and no leader.
No new coach could sort it any quicker or better than Nobby.

i would love to see justin morgan at wigan. i personally think he is one of the best in super league. we prised nobby away mid season from a very good bradford side. its not unrealistic but whether he would be a target, i dont know

This argument has been put forward by many people this season, but to be honest we have now reached the stage where we don't even look like we are necessarily going to qualify for the top 8. Things can't get much worse. BN seems to have totally lost his way. The team is playing boring one-dimensional rugby and many players are underperforming.

The only possible mitigation for BN is that they aren't fit enough, which may not be BN's fault (not sure whether the backroom staff report in to him or IL?).

All in all though things are looking pretty desperate on all fronts. IL needs to get a grip - there's nothing to be lost at this stage by parting company with BN (other than some £, which may be what has prevented him going so far), since we don't look like qualifying for the play-offs at this rate...

it now seems we've reached the same point that we did with Millward, where the players confidence looks shot, they can't defend and they can't attack. And, players have been brought in who aren't good enough. About time we got rid of Noble and gave it to Wane on a temp basis until the end of the season.

IMO if BN goes, the whole lot have to go (except Wane). A full clear-out is needed to revitalise the club at the moment. We have got the players to be a top 3 side.
