And Salford need the AA home start to give them a jump start as they are not even running yet. Better a 4cyl car running on 3cyl than a 2cly motorbike not running at all

i live in wigan and i cant believe you are slagging salford for being a bad area when dave whelans stadium is around 3 of the worst areas in wigan ie norley hall worsley hall and marsh green

I was offered a place at Salford Uni a year and a bit ago (Before i'd finished all my A Levels) and I decided I'd wait and finish them and go to Edge Hill because Salford is a dump. I went there with a few mates to an open day and walking up from the tram station some lads were throwing bricks at an abandoned fast food emporium then started to threaten us saying "are you some of them students?" well that's roughly what the Chav translated as. "hey yoons" etc.

Ah well half our fans could walk from a game at the JJB we'd still have more there than Salford's best attendances. (Not hard I know )
