Find me a Wigan fan who doesn't know that and won't admit to it. Go on. Just one. Really.
You'd get a bit more respect if you admitted Wigan were once a standard above the rest and you're loving the fact we've struggled for a few years now, and you're just a little obsessed with ripping us for it.

That's a fair comment - I'm sure many club's directors may have been cashing in whilst Rathbone and Hilton were coughing up.

I'm just joining in the debate. You were head and shoulders above everyone else for many years, due to a combination of high investment and good coaching. Since the introduction of a salary cap you've struggled to compete - fact.
I don't give a toss what Wigan get up to and certainly aren't obsessed with you. How often do you see me on here when you lose?!?!?!?!?!?!

You post as if what you're saying is some kind of revelation and then get all uppity when no-one goes 'Oh my God, this guy's a genius!' Jesus, Wigan were fighting relegation 2 seasons ago and if you'll bother to read the posts we can all see that the last couple of seasons we've not exactly set the game alight. Even on this thread people are posting that we're not good enough and won't win anything under the current coach or playing the way we are. What part of that are you struggling with? Oh, yes I see now...you just wanted to take a pop at Wigan and thought you'd dress it up as 'contributing to the debate'. Get a life, muppet!

Well make yer bloody mind up. First of all you're telling us we can't admit we're not top of the pile any more, now you don't give a toss?
Face facts, Wigan fans know the glory days are long gone. That's not even an issue and hasn't been for years. We can live with that, just as we can live with fans of other sides obsesseed with constantly ribbing us about it.
Still, at least we have the glory days to look back to...
Good night chaps - I look forward to seeing you playing at the LSV some time soon!!!!!!!

Not true.
A good post ruined by a d.ckhead troll

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
wigan will come back things go in cycles dont they?
every dog has its day ect.
remember you have been in a much worse position , you have been in division 2 and of course there is no relegation now.
i had great admiration for the great wigan side of the 80s - 90s it looked like it was going to go on forever ,but was it a good thing all that expenditure you are not now in the great atmospheric central park ,leeds tried to follow suit trying to buy success and neary went bust and thus almost having to leave headingley.
wigan will be back all those wigan fans who have been there pre 1984 know this
