Although I haven't bought the Express today apparently it states that we and saints are after Ryan Boyle from Cas, I don't know to much about the lad other than he's a 22 yr old prop who the cas fans feel has a lot of potential, anybody heard anything know whether he'd be a good signing.

Good young player but cannot see why we would be in for him, unless we are looking to field a team of Props for 2010.

Both us and Saints are in the market for props in 2010 and I for one will be interested in the player/s that both clubs recruit, I'd say that we are more desperate for top quality prop than they are, but even though no names have been confirmed for either side I wouldn't bet against them getting Kite or someone of that caliber and us landing Griffin. And there in lies the problem for me although Griffin would do ok, he wouldn't lead are pack around the field whereas some like Kite would and for me that's what we lack.
And one thing that hasn't been mentioned much on here is the salary cap and much available we'll have, it seems to me that if reports are right quite a lot of high earners are coming of the cap yet Lenegan has been frugal with his signings, yes we've improved others contracts but I get the feeling that come 2011 we'll have a fair chunk of space available and Lenegan know's that and is ling up signings for 2011 not 2010, this for we will be confimed when the likes of Phelps, Coley and even Bailey and Griffin only get a 1 year deals paving the way for the 2011 season.
