Of course I'd love to see Barrow in SL, but it is still a Sky led Circus, with Eddie and Stevo spouting their usual guff about 'for the good of the game' blah blah.
thepriestman85 wrote: Still I must say I’m all for a closed shop once we get the right teams in there as very few teams currently outside of SL offer that much imo to moving the game forward.
Then the game will die from the roots up.
Believe me, it wil.

I honestly don't think it will.
The way forward is a strong SL and the only way to do that is by shutting the shop up IMO once we have the right balance of teams in there.

23 - 20 - 4 Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Easiest and quickest way to do the journey is on the train, plus you can have a few pints, and not have to worry about getting clamped.
There is a train from Wigan North Western at 11.25am on the Sunday, getting you in to Barrow at 1.00pm. Return trains at 6.18pm and 8.02pm.
Usually have to change at Lancaster (easier than changing at Preston). There are also trains from Chorley and (direct) from Bolton.
I do this journey quite frequently (as a Barrow fan living in Hindley), and 99 times out of 100 there are no problems.
The station is 5-10 minutes walk from the ground, with plenty of pubs on the way.
