Walters performance has really encouraged me for the back row position next year.
A couple of experienced work horses in Isa and Farrell along side a couple of giant athletic game breakers in Junior and Walters.
Perfect balance

Agreed but hopefully Isa and Farrell don't spend too much time on the physio table otherwise than plan fails.
I'd would like to see Walters carry the ball more dynamically. Every time Nsemba has it, he looks like he'll break a tackle or offload or cause the defenders problems whereas Walters just sticks his head down and drives it in.

I think Isa will be used as a squad player next season, and he'll be good for it if he's called on. His injury no doubt, fast tracked Juniors path into the 1st team, and he has played far more than he probably anticipated, but i cannot see Isa knocking Junior out of that position now.
likewise, its probably Faz' last season (maybe 1 more at a push) and Walters really needs to do the same as Junior, and make the other 2nd row his, and get far more game time next year. We saw at weekend what he can do, so its up to him now on the back of a good pre-season to make sure he's pushing for the shirt, and then takes it, if he doesnt start with it
It just feels like Walters needs to concentrate IMO to make a success of his career here. At times throughout the season he's looked dopey and has made some silly errors but he was switched on against Leigh and has been in the other bigger games he's played in but when the intensity of games have dropped, he has had a tendency to switch off. It is an issue they seem to have been able to get out of Mago's game consistently now, so hopefully Walters kicks on next season and does the same.
Tyler Dupree looked a bit disgruntled after the game. Probably frustrated after only getting 6 minutes.
Peet and him had a conversation during the celebrations, I’m confident it was explained to him why.
Hope he uses it as motivation and attacks preseaon. He’s got loads of improvement in him.

He needs to get himself in the best possible shape and when games come around, he needs to get back to playing at full throttle. He's had very little intensity to his game this season.
