Hull KR are flying, we look the third most likely at this stage but we have been there and done that so I give us a good chance.
I don't rule us out by any means but we will have to find some big performances against Catalans and Hull KR. Key to that will be whether Bevan can hit the ground running when he returns.
Leigh and Saints both play Hull KR and Warrington in the final few weeks - maybe they can do us a favour.

Who finishes 6th is anyone's guess. All of Saints, Catalans and Salford are vulnerable to Leigh now.
The deciding fixture will be Wigan v HKR. Everyone thought we would get dusted in the CC Semi-final and look how that turned out.

There's still a long way to go yet before the final positions are nailed on.
5-6 weeks ago almost everyone had given Wigan the LLS. Wire and HKR need to keep this form up, a few injuries to key men and it changes pretty quickly.
Getting Bevan back will be massive as it makes us far more difficult to defend against.

On a train to London. Just typed out a long message on my phone and lost it!
I’ll post a proper reply when I’m back on my laptop but for now having only seen the highlights the only ray of sunshine for us is Harry Robertson
He makes errors and will continue to do so for a while. He’s also naive and inexperienced but my word what a player. Hard to believe he’s played less than 10 games and only been full time for two months.
I’ve waxed lyrical about this lad on here for a while and as NK said his footwork is incredible. When he puts some size and strength on that frame he’s going to be even better.
With the talent of Farrimond also, these two could be the starting halves for England sooner than you think

Wane said in the pre match interview that Farrimiond was in his thoughts even as early as for the Samoa squad. I'm sure Robertson will be too. A couple of great prospects for sure!
Can I mention "open goals" and "tries against 12 men" Stu or will that make me a bad winner?

Wellens didn't do himself too much good in picking out Robertson letting Marshall go around towards the posts for his try as the example of them not doing the basics. It's not that he's wrong but there were many examples of players making silly errors and picking out a kid who has been your shining light recently isn't overly wise.
I believe Robertson is more of a stand off than a full back from his academy days. I'm not sure but I think you can see that in how he's played. His footwork is startling and he's going to be some player as he fills out but there has been the odd error here and there. He got picked off by Farrimond with that try by rushing up and leaving the space in behind. The quick thinking and vision from Farrimond to see that though was outstanding. I sense those two will play in some huge games against each other in the coming years.

The biggest problem is that both players are likely to be in the NRL before too long! Two new clubs to be added to the NRL, we all know they are going to look to entice our top talent.

Granted Sironen was injured early but still - they even managed to make Bryne look impressive, and considering his recent form this year that's no mean feat - and Dupree seemed to have shaken off some dodgy form of the past few weeks.
Hopefully leaving Bryne on the sidelines for a while has ignited some fire in him.
Nsemba was a beast in defence when he lined anyone up - really aggressive shoulder in tackles, and not too shabby with his footwork either in attack.
17 tackles and 4 runs for 23m doesn't strike me as impressive?

and more talk this morning about the NRL being in loose talks to invest in Superleague. They won't be doing that to help us, that's for sure!
