According to a family member of his, Wigan are interested in signing Kyle Eastmond, but he is still hopeful of signing a new 4 year contract at Saints.

As much as I like Eastmond and I don't know which is more unlikely us signing him or Graham I wouldn't know which was his best position much like saints don't seem to no either.

But still bring it on, Graham and Eastmond it just keep's getting better it'll be Roby next.

cadoo wrote:Could be. Phil Bailey is certainly on a decent chunk. In fact I have even heard a rumour he was the highest paid at the club! Surely it must be Fielden?

Either way the delay in announcing Bailey's so called 'contract renewal' could certainly add more fuel to the fire to the Graham rumour.

I agree, the rumours of Bailey resigning with us were long ago and seem to have dramatically died down, as for him being are highest paid player I suppose it could be true he has played at the highest level, SOO and internationally.

If true he's certainly not proved to be value for money far from it in fact.

Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds

Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0

As I said, he is still hopeful of signing a new deal, but last time I heard (a couple of weeks ago) he was definitely signing a new deal. If all this true, why has it gone from definite, to hopeful?

I don't know the lad but I get the feeling that he'll sign for the highest bidder whether that's us you or Sale, the mighty £ may be his driving force.

As long as he remains in Rugby League is the important thing.

Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”

I don't think that we now need Bailey, if George had left then Bailey would have been a good signing for cover in the centres and 2nd row but we certainly have enough to cope in both areas.

Hopefully if he was to leave and Nobby was to take Fielden off our hands, there'd be enough space on the cap to buy in two world class props and be set for an exciting year ahead.

Preferably not signing R. Bailey and maybe getting one of the Storm props who could be leaving - Lima anyone?
