I am cringing reading some of these posts. Cant wait for schools to go back so Jason can go back

So Saints are a better side (see good friday, when we couldnt get out of our after 20mins) but if we beat them in a grand final we are not better.
FFS what do we have to do we have already won the CC cup and if we win the GF we could possibly not be as good but closing the gap.

Saints fans are getting jittery aren't they :)

23 - 20 - 4

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Don't understand why.

For us to beat them they need to be missing their first choice 300 players, play worse than they have ever played and the wind needs to be blowing at exactly 4mph in a SW direction with an air temperature of precisely 17.2754 degrees.

If any of those don't happen, then we could play as well as the 86 Kanagroos and we still lose by 20 points.

And if all of that was to happen ( win)we would have had the ref on our side and would have been very very lucky to win.

They have won jack sh$t so far this year but Wigan have,Stains day in the sun has gone now.

All joking aside. I wouldn't go that far.

They are still the best at what they do. The difference now is I think we have the abilities to counteract that and the fight to take it to them.

It's no longer a foregone conclusion when we meet, but they are still probably favourites albeit a -2-6 point start with the bookies rather than 12-18 and you'd still lump on.

I know but it is fun !!,because if by a fluke we win the GF (if we get there) it will be fantastic watching all of their brain cells explode in disbelief.

Why would we need to fluke it? If we play at our best we can beat any team.

Zig,the fluke comment should come with a touch of sarcasm,I just didnt word it well.

Of course I think Wigan are capable of winning anything.
Beginning of the season I stated that Wigan would win-
CC -thats ticked off
Hubcap- still ongoing
GF- not at that stage yet.

Take 2 players out of your team and you are mid table at best. Take saints best 2 out of their team and they are still the best team in the league
