Went into town looking to get bladdered and get laid. Got bladdered but, as usual, failed to get laid. Decided he'd have a scrap instead. A few opportunities arose, but that might have meant getting hurt, so stumbled home in the wee small hours and opted for his usual - pick a fight online.

Three, possibly four players to leave, Bateman, a reserve/ 1st team squad player, a 1st team regular and possibly another one (that would be a shock I don't think it'll happen)
One or two top class players to come in, talks already underway. 1st one would be a MAJOR signing not seen in the game since the likes of Trent Barrett!

I will have a guess at Hanley being the reserve/1st team squad player, Mago the 1st team regular and Cust as the as the shock departure.
Hanley and Cust are just a speculative guess on my part. Haven't heard any rumours on either but Hanley doesn't seem to have a role at the club and Cust maybe being targeted by a club in the nrl or is he the guy to make way for Farrell?
As I say pure speculation on my part.

I would probably guess the same with Cust as the shock departure as some teams in the NRL seem to be struggling with halves but I think JWH the big transfer rather than Farrell

I'm a massive JWH fan and I'd love to sign him, but at 33 I don't see how he'd fit the description of being the type of MAJOR signing that's not been seen since we got Trent. I'd put Hoffman, Sam or Bateman retuning as bigger than what JWH would be.

I'd class someone major as Faz, DCE,.Tom Burgess or Radley (not saying it's one of them btw, just that level).

Probably Ben Barba but he then promptly dumped on them from a high altitude so hey ho !

I don't know if I'd even include Farrell, if I'm honest, given his age and lack of SL experience.

That fills their overseas quota so doesn’t look like Mago will be heading there.

I don’t see how JWH is not a massive signing, one of the best props in the NRL, once probably regarded as the best, deffo at the level of Trent signing imo.

Surely the training photo's the club are posting should give some indication to who these may be, people are throwing around names like cust & mago yet both have started pre season training with the club and are in photo's. Would this be the case if they were signing elsewhere?

I will say though i am not seeing hanley in any of them so could be legs to that one even if it is just a guess.

It is also worth noting that peet said in an interview a couple of days ago that as far as the club knows bateman is only going on holiday, they expect him back and there has been no formal offers made for his signature, seems him leaving is not a done deal yet.
