Heard a rumour we are after a prop and a halfback?
Not sure I agree with wanting another prop if we have Harvie Hill waiting for his chance.
If we are after a halfback, as back up to Smith/Cust is there anyone available to do that role?
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Seems like the two positions that we don't need to fill tbh.
I know we've only got two recognised HB's in the squad, but I was impressed with Field at 6 and it allowed us to move French + opened up a spot for Miski. That's the way I'd like us to go if needed.

Spoke to IL at the Maguire evening, chatted about Bevan and he alluded to one more signed to come. I suggested “a centre”, which he confirmed.
So think Wardle may have concluded our business

And i am still very happy if that is the case.
Has to be said, the club has done a very good job in the last couple of seasons in targeting and recruiting in our true weak area's. King and wardle may have been a fortunate situation but the club still played a blinder capitalising on both!
Trophy window definately opened up for us here, should be a good few years at least!

You really think Ellis has been fine? Some of his numbers in terms of carries, meter’s and tackles have been horrific at times.
Not slamming him but barely ever notice he’s playing.
