Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. tbf if i was a dire half of me would be wanting us to win....lets be realistic...if we were in their position, im sure half of us would rather go out valliantly to a better club in the semis, who will be able to at least give our arch rivals a game and have a possibility of beating them, rather than scape through to wembley for an inevitable 40pt tonking by st helens. If wigan were in dires poaition then I would almost rather us lose so at least the scousers might lost the final
