I hope they give it to hanley personally however i think shaun is a born winner
I have heard that the lads respect wane a hell of a lot more than noble

It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.
I really cannot see Noble going untill the end of the season, IL will not pay him off.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

I personally would like a former player to take over and restore the pride and passion of wearing the "famous cherry & white"
If SW does get the job I wish him well. He has done a fantastic job with the lower grades and he should be given a chance IMO.
If it's not SW who gets the job who else is in contention because its only time before Noble goes?
Favourite in what way? Have you spoken to IL?

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
Well personally i really like noble, not only as a coach but his personality to the media has always shown him as a respectable man. I hope he could stay at wigan however not as our coach, i believe he has built our team to the border and a new addition at coach would pick our team up nicely. He has always seemed to be a simple coach who lacks any fancy ideas or plays. He also isnt a motivational coach, which i feel we need at the moment. He has taken our team as far as he can (in my opinion) as coach however i hope that IF we do get another coach, he is offered another position, if one is available.
Thanks

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
Could very well be the way forward, as i said i hope he stays on but not as coach, we need a coach that can make on the spot desicions, provides exciting plays ( something we have lacked for a while), but mainly we need passion instilled in our squad, every other team seems to have everybody playing as if they want to be there, even the ozzies are taking pride in their shirts, now i am not saying that all of ours do not but you just cannot see the want.

Shaun Wane would be a great appointment till the end of the season - he's a wigan lad who knows the younger players , has proved him self at reserve level - and it gives IL 6 months to look for a replacement if he doesnt do well. If he does well give him the job - Could be similar to the run we had under mike greg after raper was sacked.
Agreed, we shouldnt panick into signing a coach if Noble goes and would like to see hoe Wane goes, he wouldnt hesitate to breed the younger ones through, having him and his new ideas at coach could buy IL enough time to get the right coach. I would love Edwards to be here but looks doubtful. I believe our squad has the potential, just the guidance is needed.
If Edwards came back i really think we could still win the SL this year!! thats how much he could change things IMO.....we;ve got the squad but were just playing the wrong players and wrong tactics
