If you have followed Brett's story for a few years now you see just how disturbed he is. When he was caught shoplifting underpants we all said what a shame and then forgot about it. Once upon a time we just talked about self destructive personalities but now we are starting to see how some of our heroes are becoming casualties of the game. No I am not excusing otherwise we would have to do the same for everyone who goes off the rails but now we know that making simple binary judgements often puts us wide of the mark. I cannot stand the influence of drugs in society but there is a lot more going on in Brett's head than a bad lad making poor choices.

Surely being a curtain twitcher youd have seen him before 12 months Pemps??

Dallas sadly has history since his retirement from the game that indicate that his mental health wasn't in a very good state and made plenty of bad choices?
Perhaps Gareth Ellis and JP could get away with robbing a bank and selling drugs ? They both had plenty of head knocks too?
Whoa... back off... Wind your chin in.
I never suggested that head shots were the cause of his behaviour, i merely suggested that there might be a link. And if you read my post you will see that i clarify this...
Your comments about Ellis and JP are banal and childish...

aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

It seems from what I'm reading that Dallas has some difficult issues. Sadly, some folk are a real challenge when it comes to trying to help save them from themselves. Hope he can rediscover the discipline he used when playing RL accept any help given, and turn a corner. Great player on the field, who will now be remembered for what he did after his playing days.

His social media doesn't present him as being in a very good place at all. The odd thing is it seems to be a very sudden switch (particularly on Instagram).

Very sad to hear about what has happen to him as he was one of the many good wingers signed by the club over the years.
So sad for any member of a family to fall into the present day life of drug and indeed alcohol abuse.
I wish him and his family all the best for the future. ' And there should be no comments about not feeling sorry for him, as it could happen to anyone and any family.
