Echo what everyone else says that he should have achieved so much more and gone down as a great both over here and in Oz. Best back rower talent wise I have seen at the club which is saying something when you think of the strength we have had in this position over the years.
I wonder what Gaz Hock thinks when he looks at himself in the mirror? I'm sure that he would also agree with all of the negative posts and comments that RL fans have constantly made about him over the years too
I recall seeing Gaz playing academy footy around 2000 ish v the Rhinos and was really impressed with him back then,You could tell that he was a stand out player with the world at his feet. He progressed at academy level and was outstanding in the England side that beat the Aussie Schoolboys in 2002 at Headingley
IMO Gaz had everything in his armour to make it to the very top of our game and even in the NRL with the right application.
Gaz was very tough and could certainly dish it out when needed,He ran great lines,Was a great footballer with ball in hand,but he sadly never even got anywhere close to where he could have got in our game and he knows only too well who is to blame for that....Shame really as players with his talent don't come round very often
