By certain sections of the crowd showing their fustration, it might get through to players the sacrifices that supporters make to actually follow them to places like Perpignan.
Without this being directed towards any posts in this thread, I do find it funny how some supporters feel threatened by other supporters who are willing/able to follow the team every game which puts themself into insecurity. But reality is, if it wasn't for die hards including those who were in Perpignan, then there probably wouldn't be a Wigan Rugby League.

but yet the original post is slagging fans off about how they support the club........ i neither boo'ed nor sang happy happy songs but I can seriously understand the frustration after spending thousands of pounds watching this team, fans want a bit of pride in the shirt - they dont even have that

It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.
People are being called seals for clapping, they are told we shouldn't sing a particular song. Most people on here are frustrated by what we see on the pitch but it doesn't mean we have to stop supporting our club. I hate it when fans sing you're not fit to wear the shirt as it can appear to be directed at all the players. What have the likes of Ainscough and Tompkins done to deserve that. There has got to be something more going on that we don't know about. How can a team put out a performance like they did against saints on Thursday then go and perform so badly on Monday.

but by the same token, what have the 'underachievers' done to earn the praise of the crowd?
