Harrison Hansen is a superb 2nd row. His defence is second to none, his enthusiasm is faultless and he has really started to run good lines (usually off the back of Tommy. He is a solid, consistant performer with good speed and is a vital part of our team.

you need a player like that in a team, someone who will do the donkey work and allow otherplayers (hock, feka for example) to be used more in attack.

People must remember that although he has been around the first team for a while he is still only 23 years old.

look at players like Nathan Hindmarch, decent in attack but Flippin outragously good in defence. give hansen time and i see no reason why he can become a very good player.

For me, whenever Gleeson had the ball in hand was when we came across as most dangerous and was probably one of the few times I actually felt excited when watching the game on Monday.

Once Roberts and Gleeson get used to each other, it can potentially be one of the best centre/wing partnerships in Super League.

Whether you can appreciate it, Hansen runs cracking attacking lines. Players tend to drift laterally when they are about to pass with ball in hand. Nothing wrong with it, unless the reciever is drifting on the same angle.

Hansen hits a ball straight, and hard. If your running away from the guy who is trying to tackle you, then that side of your body is exposed completly, your centre of gravity is high, and if you get hit then you WILL lose metres.

By running straight at a defense, or angles back into them, then he is much harder to tackle, and much less likely to get smashed... I'd draw you a picture, but I can't find my crayons

As pointed out, Prescott and O'carroll are cracking players, and are the future of our pack.

Feka was criticised for being to fat, worked hard on his fitness, now he plays for the same amount of time and gets critisised can't make the same impact.

Riddell doesn't look fit, but in all honesty does KC?

Mccilorum...Liability? where did you get this from?! He has cut out his penaltys and works over time in defense...

To slow at the play of the ball need to speed up his decision making the opposition are on him as he is about to pass the ball. We have better to fill that position needs to go on loan.

Why does a positive thread about Gleeson so quickly decend into the same discussion as else where on the board about the whole team, why cant people stick to the topic!

I agree with that - providing he can keep the ball in his hands, of course. Think he cost us possession 4 times on the bounce either side of half time, but certainly willing to put a shift in

Not had the best of seasons at Wire though, so only time will tell for us

Don't worry - It only seems kinky the first tiime you try it!

Imo Gleeson is the only world class British centre in the game.

The Communist Cap - dragging down success and aspiration to the levels of those who cba.

There are no world class British centres.

That was clearly shown in the world cup.

Gleeson is merely arguably the most talented British player in that position.

Its debatable as to whether he would be considered good enough for a starting spot in an NRL side

It's been a while since either of them were World Class I think! Best of a bad bunch is probably the only way to describe the pair of them.
