I'll just say the same as I did on the other thread.
Wigan won't be far off if we can get to that standard consistently. We'll only get better as well when the under performers get shown the door and some decent recruitment.
The loss of Cunningham to Saints will hurt them hugely. He and the fact that he had a bigger, stronger pack were the main reasons why Saints won that game. That won't be the case in the next couple of years.

However, I think only the most blinkered of Saints fans would argue that you weren't outplayed tonight and had we had the 'bounce of the ball' would have won quite easily. Maybe you find that an irrelevance, but as we haven't been playing particularly well, we don't....
No don't get me wrong I texted Jukesays after the game saying I didn't think we deserved to win, we made a lot of silly errors and should have been beaten. However, it's the mark of a champion team to find ways to win in games like that.

Spot on, Phelps had a good game last night IMO. I like the kid, he doesn't half put his body on the line! Always willing to take it up, runs hard, might not be the best tackler 1v1, but always takes the man with the ball. Solid and dependable.
I don't agree with you about the knock on, he wasn't facing his own line, and tbh, just pick it up cleanly! School-boy. Even if it did go backwards, Thalor wiped the tackle count clean in the second half when it was a clear knock on by Sam so it evens up I guess
I was pleased last night, our defense was outstanding, but watch Cats but 40 on us now! If last season is anything to go by, we will need to wait a few weeks until we see that defensive performance agian
