I appreciate that you have little time for Brian Noble but can I ask you one question please?
If Noble were to be sacked who would you have in charge, realistically?
and he does a bit of a boogie

I appreciate your sentiments, that's why I stayed out of the argument on here a few weeks ago. I would never wish a Wigan team to lose though, it's a difficult situation.
When Wigan lose, it's all doom and gloom. When we win, we are the best thing since sliced bread. Sadly, we always look for a scapegoat and this season it's Nobby. Whether that is right or wrong, remains to be seen.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Hanley???
would he stay for the long term...no. as much as I loved Hanley as a player he is a money grabber and would be here for 2-3 years at the most
Folkes??
Defence orientated and would get slated by some Wigan fans for not playing enterprising rugby
Murray?
He's been here and done that...oh no let me think again, he's been here and not done that.
and he does a bit of a boogie

Would we need more than 2 or 3 years?
Noble is defence orientated but is simply gash at it.
Murray, sorry do not understand the point?

well if Hanley doesn't win anything in 2 years (sorry weeks) people will be jumping on his back wanting him sacked, who would take over from Ellery after the 2 years, another change in coach??????
Noble is 'gash' at defence?????......sorry mate but it ain't the coach who misses the tackles (when Kirke broke through tonight Fielden and tommy, nowt to do with noble)
murray...you don't understand what? it is greame murray you on about?

Hanley would have respect of the dressing room.
Noble coaches a defence that can defend against a flat attack, with a deep attack the wide players have yards to run at there opposite number with no pressure on them. See the Bailey thread of last week, see Bailey get shown up tonight due to his lack of mobility and pace.
Murray who turned Leeds from nearly men to a Championship winning team?

Up and hold the line. As you say against a deep attacking line the defense has no chance, one example being the amount of time Burrow had to make the kick for Halls try, however as a player ( even I know this as an amateur) if you see a deep attacking line then surely you must make the decusion to get up fast and cut down the options in attack. Leeds line speed this evening was superb and they forced numerous errors when you had the ball. I don't rate Noble as a coach and never have done but some blame must lie with the players too, at the end of the day you play whats in front of you and change accordingly.
