I was in this market in Suva, Fiji:
One of the stallholders with a massive 'fro was wearing a Wigan shirt. It's to my lasting regret I didn't get my father-in-law to get a picture of me with him. I also saw someone in a Cas shirt in Fiji selling mud crabs by the side of the road

Running the London Marathon in 2007 I saw a guy wearing one of the old Nike home shirts in the crowd near Greenwich.
Just managed to point and excitedly wheeze 'Wigan!' before running past.
If it was you -
'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.' Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.
Anyone wishing to see the match where Jake the Snake Roberts wore his Wigan shirt needs to go onto You Tube and type N2R 1998 Part 13/16 in the search bar.
wierdest place was a really small rough village in mexico i was looking for sumwhere for the wigan game to be shown then my gf looked down the road and some proper old wiganer comes walking up the road with his deck chairs and rubber rings hanging off him, didnt see anyone with him though,
the thing i like the best is when you find a bar when your on holiday, they all have the shirts and flags hanging everywhere, you see the usual celtic, rangers, united, liverpool but you will always see a wigan rl shirt never a latics shirt
