Just hope season ticket holders get a few days first dibs in our end.

If it's right we've had the best season ticket sales in years and no reason to doubt that there's still going to be an awful lot of disappointed season ticket holders, going to be gutting for those of us that miss out but looking at the big picture it's great for the sport.

Keep hearing this but when you look at the stadium map for season ticket holders I just can't see it.

Doesn't look particularly impressive but then ST sales did fall to a very low level in 2019 and then obviously during the pandemic - its been a case of building back ever since.
In the press release on the 18th December it said that we've sold over 7,000. Taking them off sale for a month or so due to the switch in ticketing system won't have helped.

Personally, and I have no proof of this outside of my own experience, I think the club have messed up.
Before the season ticket renewal deadline passed, I was looking at renewing my X2 seats. After selecting my existing seats, I got sidetracked and had to log out before I could complete the purchase. Going back into it, those seats where then grayed out/down as renewed. They stayed like that for a good couple of months as well. We eventually ended up getting two seats to the right and now our original seats are showing as free.
Personally, I think the club could have been double counting some transactions.

Surely your seats should've been held for you until after a particular deadline date had passed (and announced by the club) ?
I knew when renewing my ST's for this season that I had until the 7th December to renew. After that point they would be open for someone else to buy.

They were, it's just they were almost too well held. Because i'd initially selected the seats for renewal and not finished the original session they remained "locked". When I went back to renew they were locked out/showing as taken & stayed that way for a good couple of months.

Big shout out to the moron in the Steelers bobble hat in the North Stand who gave me the bird and mouthed off at me for celebrating at the end (in front of his kids and my daughter). Hope you are enjoying your pint of bitter
