Its what dreams are made of. At least he had something worth celebrating! Well done lad. Here's to many more celebrations. But next time try and score neaer the posts when Pat's not playing! Only joking.
It wasn't the celebration that was wrong, it was the fact that he should have gone close to or under the posts, which would have put Wigan level.
Instead he gave Roberts a difficult kick and we were still two points behind.
Another point from last night was Ainscoughs disallowed try in the first half was never forward. I saw the replay three times after the game.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row Saints have five in a row

Agree on both counts.
As long as he learns, he can be forgiven for not going under the sticks / passing inside, but if he does it again then we need to worry.
It wasn't a forward pass, but Ganson was whistle happy in them first ten minutes.

What an awesome debut, I had tears in my eyes at one point. I have been readily awaiting this for absolutely ages. After watching 18s and reserves regularly and then his call up for england academy, I just knew we had something special and was so excited yesterday when I realised he was in the starting team.
Yeah he may not have had the best positioning of where he put the ball down, but that try was one of the most exciting I had seen at the JJB in a long time.
Just hope that Sam's regular callup to the first team isn't too far away. The one thing you can't take away from the lads is their passion to play for wigan.
I am praying that the visas for our current new crop of aussie players are withdrawn, can't believe that people said that smith had an awesome game last week and in the space of a week its reduced to the crap we had to watch last night. Even roberts didn't impress me.
Pryce did though, he is really gonna be a handfull when he is fully fit, he reminded me of Graeme West with his running style, his hand offs were brilliant and that tackle he made on the wing made me so glad it wasn't me running down it.
