Well if he doesn't sign for us I'd much rather he stayed at Salford plus it'll help his development as a player. For me Myler signing for any other club only improves there chances, if he does sign this contract I personally cant see him sticking it to the end, sooner or later a big club will come in for him.

I'd be quite interested to see what a sales pitch of the club to potential players looks like, and whether Lenegan uses a power point production.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
I would like to see Wigan recruit more Kiwi's than Aussies in the next few years. Wigan always seemed to get more value for money with Kiwis in the 80's & 90's.

plus your more likely to get current internationals.
There is however a much weaker strength in depth, it seems to me that the top NZ players can compete with most that aus can offer, but after the first team there doesn't seem to be a huge amount.
Similar to us in regards to our forwards, we have a few who can compette and then after that we're a bit screwed.

Well, what an ambition that is.
I bet every aspiring youngster in the locality would be delighted with that idea.
We shouldn't be looking to sign any foreign players.

Thats something i've wanted to see for years.
When you go for Kiwi's you generally seem to get more out of them then the Aussies. They just seem to have more passion about them and maybe it's because you can tempt a few higher end Kiwi's over here then you can Australians.
Get Kearney in and get him to bring a couple of class Kiwi's with him(Adam Blair wouldn't go amiss).
