Cronus wrote:No-one said it was. If you can get your head round it, the whole conversation started because you said Skerrett was 'cleaned out'. Only later did you explain it was a punch. (BTW - does anyone else remember this incident?)

Not my fault if you didn't go the match... infact i spoke to my brother about this the other day... due to his clean living, his memory is alot better than mine... he said Skerett threw the first punch and tried to headbutt koloto before he got sparked out... sorry to explain something else to you at a later date.

Cronus wrote:Land a good first punch and you can clean anyone out.

No you cant.. depends how weak chinned the person is receiving the punch.

Cronus wrote:You were actually the first to mention previous, between Koloto and Skerrett in the game at central park. Pieman simply replied that the Cassidy incident also came about as a result of previous.

ok.. so there was previous... it didn't lead to a cheap elbow to the head.. just a good old fashioned stand up fight...

Cronus wrote:Clearly harder for some than others.

at least we agree on something

Cronus wrote:I don't think anyone's said that either. But remember this: size does not equal mental or physical toughness. Morley has always had the advantage of being huge. Cassidy, with his rather more diminutive frame and weight, mixed it with the biggest and toughest in world RL for almost 20 years.

well done to him

Cronus wrote:There are plenty of other names in this thread I think we can place ahead of Cassidy, Koloto and your hero Morley.

Les Boyd for one.

anyway... i was only commenting on something i saw between 2 teams i don't like.. so for me, its no longer important enough to argue the toss about.

well played to you for coming and and trying to rescue pieman though... im sure he appreciated it

It's pretty obvious you've not seen much of sonny nickle. He was as hard as they come. Had no respect for so called hardmen reputation.

A coward! PMSL

Im sure Brett Hodgson would also back that up

This tackle typified Tallis. Hodgson is hardly the biggest bloke but to just drag him like that and fling his booty into touch is something I'll never forget. He really was hard as nails.

Kevin Ward had the Aussies respect for being able to look after himself and them for that matter but my all time hero is

Mal Reilly- not only a REAL hard man - a fabulous footballer as well-
