Further to the thread being tidied, can people please keep on topic regarding the renaming of the stadium and not resort to personal insults and death wishes?
This may be an independant website but we have a varied audience who read the content, and I think some of the comments were unacceptable.

Is that the first effort of modding you've ever done? I believe it is
EDIT: just seen Hogan's post above

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

I kept the faith and I kept voting Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand For theirs is a land with a wall around it And mine is a faith in my fellow man Theirs is a land of hope and glory Mine is the green field and the factory floor Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers And mine is the peace we knew Between the wars

YOU ARE MISSING A MASSIVE IMPORTANT ISSUE... the name of the stadium is dw cos he couldn't get anyone to INVEST in his stadium. he said he had major companies lined up to pay for naming rights to the jjb.well where are they and you can bet latics will be sponsored by his company as NO major companies will want to sponsor them either.
all the money for latics will come out of his pocket and lets not forget he lost quite abit with the icelandic bank fiasco.
things are not looking very bright for whelan if he has to sponsor his own bloody stadium[/quote
Don't believe that, his comments were to build his own company up. Although it doesn't affect us, he'll be paying nothing to his own business (stadium company) for the deal.
