Just looked on Blairs twitter and he's posted a picture of Joel Reddy (West Tigers centre) having a kip after training. This was posted 19 hours ago yet he's meant to have been picked up in Wigan by a Wigan player yesterday.
If it is somebody with the initials AB it's not Adam Blair by the looks of things (no suprises like).

No more signings this season unless some player(s) are loaned out I'm afraid. Was at a sportsmans dinner on Friday and Shaun Wane was the speaker. Hock very nearly left but is '100% a Wigan player this year'. Tomkins last season before nrl also, no chance he will ever go to union.

The AB initials is the interesting bit. Adam Blair seems to be the only Kiwi NRL player with those initials but the club has already shown with Anthony Gelling that they look further than the NRL for talent.
With the original poster saying he didn't think it was Blair it could be a non NRL player. It could also be completely inaccurate but the guy is usually right.

The thing is, why all the secrecy? If player X does have the initials 'AB' and has (as rumoured) been training with the first team squad out in public then why not mention the player by name on here? Surely you would only train with your prospective employers in public if it was a done deal?
It states in on Wigan Today site that the team have endured a "grueling hills" session around Haigh Country Park on Saturday, hardly Area 51 is it?

Blair would be exactly the type of player we need. Big strong ball handler and enforcer. He is also a leader. Seems a bit of a stretch though sadly. Would love it to be true.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
No doubt on his day Adam Blair is class, but for a number of reasons he's been an expensive flop at Wests. We'd need a lot of money to sign him and it there could be a good chance of it backfiring spectacularly.

Thing is if you look he is normally on daily and there has been a gap of 3-4 with nothing
We shall see this week if it's true or not
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
