riddell went into the game injured.
give him chance

Your guess is as good as mine. Im with you on that one. Noble should have played Leuluai at starting hooker with McIlorum on the bench and Tomkins/Smith in the halves, if it didnt work out for Tomkins, O'Loughlin is always there to take over.

I just dont think you should call Riddell a 'waste of space' when he has played 2 games for us, both of which he hasnt done that bad in, people are just expecting him to be a one trick Micky Higham and run from dummy half every time, but he has more to his game than that, and once the season progresses we will see how he improves the team, our props are already playing better because they are getting better distribution of the ball from a hooker that can actually pass.

Seriously, i thought the welsh team spreaded the ball well, it has me puzzled as to why we dont throw wide as opposed to just going head first into the pack at almost every run...

Basic stuff surely? :?

You mean embrace summer rugby at Wigan. Copy the other 13 teams. At least we can say we're original.

5 straight drives from a pack with little metre makers in it.
Then a boot downfield if we haven't already lost the ball in some stupid way beforehand.

Followed up with a lot of lying on in defence, missed tackles and gaps down the wing where you have Phelps, Roberts and Mathers... wonder why Wakefield scored twice down that side....?

Yeah when the pitches dry out, he'll have a lot of tracking back to do.
