To be fair, Welsby has always made himself available. If Wane is looking for the younger lads then Delaney will have more of a chance of being selected than the likes of Percival and Clark. Welsby would be a guaranteed pick I would imagine along with Lees

Pretty sure Welsby won't be involved, Wane did an interview were he said him and Williams "had credit in the bank". Hopefully for us Thompson falls into that category, we could do with him picking Dupree though, get some minutes in his legs before what's a very big July for us

It's the Wigan in him
There probably is no need to pick Welsby but there is such a lack of fullback options open to Wane, so I could see him picking him and him probably being captain again with Williams likely to be unavailable.
With your club head on, you don't mind players being rested/not selected but the lads themselves deserve to play if they want to, so with that in mind I do hope guys like Thompson and O'Neill get call ups because I think they've earned them.

I read that but I don't understand why having credit in the bank would mean he doesn't play them. This is the only game before the Autumn tests. We're already without the NRL contingent. There's very little point to this game (in terms of preparation) if we're not playing all the available SL players too. I understand the point regarding trying new players but that has to be alongside seasoned internationals or you're not maximizing the benefit to those new players. It would, in effect, be a glorified Knights game.
Enjoyed that more that I thought I would. London gave it a decent crack. Shame we didn’t score off that move just before half time - would have been a try of the season contender.
One thing that’s annoyed me recently - why do always resort to that “na na na na - you’re s**t” song. Just classless and at odds with everything else about the club at the moment. Particularly on nights like tonight where the oppo have put a lot of effort in.
