However to answer your question I don't think as many did purchase season tickets as they weren't heavily marketed (even though they did exist).
Most supporters with season tickets were the ones in the seats (to ensure you secured your own seat) where as on the terraces most paid on the gate.
Don't confuse them with facts Expect no reply or acknowledgement of their inaccurate statement and won't be seen again until another opportunity arises to stick the boot in with some inaccurate twaddle

If my memory serves me right, I think that the club benefits more financially from the sale of season tickets compared to match day tickets as they do not pay a premium to the RFL.
