Never confident at Headingley, good start crucial because if they get on a roll, start offloading and crowd gets involved it can become difficult.
Catalans only beating Wakefield by 8 is a good result for us.

I think we’ll beat Cas next week who will probably feel they’ve done enough. If so Leigh v Wigan will determine top spot. I can’t see our points difference being caught.

If Leigh beat Wakefield this week I imagine we will see a much weakened side against us. I don't feel they will want to run the risk of HIA's and suspensions leading into a home knockout game the week after

It will be really interesting to see what Leigh would do, should they have the chance to stop Wigan winning a LLS. You feel any other side in the league would rest players but I'm not sure Leigh would. You have to factor in them not having much in reserve anyway, so their side will look pretty strong on paper anyway, even if they rest 4 or 5. They certainly couldn't go down the recent HKR route of resting 12 or 13 players against us.
Leigh may need to beat you to make sure of a top 4 spot though if Hull KR beat Salford on Saturday, depending on the margin of the victories. Hull KR play Wakey on the final weekend so would expect a comfortable win there with Wakey already down.

Don’t Leigh not have a reserve or academy side thus don’t have the option to make wholesale changes?

Leigh are plus 45 PD over HKR as well as 2 league points ahead, they play wakey this week.
They should have top 4.
I think Leigh will go full strength against. They’ll be keen to avenge two sound losses to us.
Really I’d think they’d benefit from resting Mulhern and Amone (maybe one this week and one next week), they’ve been in unreal form but play massive minutes.
Beating Leigh away will be very hard, Wigan away tickets are flying.

Certain teams suit certain opposition. We’ve struggled against Leigh 3 times this season yet Wigan have swatted them away with ease. Salford always give us problems yet again Wigan seem to beat Salford easily.
Before Saturday just gone, Leeds seemed to be the team that gave Wigan problems.

If 4th spot for Leigh is nailed on, I don't mind the last game of the season it being 3-0 to Wigan so long as it's 3-1 after the GF.
After saying that, we could meet in the play off semi, so I'll take 3-1 after the semi.
