Sorry, the chairman decided weeks ago. Let's get a view now.

IMO we now have the right coaching leadership team in place.

I can't wait for next season to start :!:

You will get a view now; I'm just saying it isn't a fair poll and I don't think it makes much sense.

It is a question that, in my eyes - and I'm sure most other posters on this here board - can't accurately be answered. Brian took charge of us for three years, and Maguire hasn't even been to the town yet, let alone coached a Wigan Warriors game. I do believe Maguire will be the better coach, but for now, anyone who votes Maguire on this poll is basing the vote off of assumptions.

I'm not trying to p155 on your parade or anything, I'm just giving my view. And personally I think it is one a few more people may have.

Fair enough, I respect your view but dont criticise IL in a year if you dont know better now.

At the end of the day what does it matter?

100% of the people could come on here and vote for Noble but it won't make one iota of difference.

Maguire is our new coach and will be for 3+ years.

Again I wish Noble all the best in any future jobs he gets but it’s time to move on

Its obvious whos going to win this poll as alot of people had lost patience with Noble as they expect Wigan to be in finals and winning trophys.

Of course MM and Wane have talked the talk now and i must admit what they say sounds great but the proof will be in the pudding.

I voted Noble simply because i felt we was on the verge of something good very soon and we didnt need to take the risk of appointing 2 untried coaches to replace somebody who has proven himself.

We will see next year.

Obviously we wil see next year, but if the chairman has to decide now lets put our nadgers on the block and not criticise with hindsight. Anyone can do that. You voted Noble I didnt time will tell but lets get peoples views before the events unfold.

It's ridiculous because your asking people to choose their preference between a coach that has had 3.5 years at Wigan and a coach who hasn't even set foot in the country yet.

EastStandFaithful wrote: I want your opinions now. Not when you have seen the regime in action.

You've had mine. It is that nobody can make any form of rational decision at this stage. Maguire could transform us into GF and CC winners next year, or he could be back in Aus inside 12 months with a P45 in his ar5e pocket.

EastStandFaithful wrote: Our chairman made that decision, why should we have hindsight?

Because we are fans on a forum and we are not the owners of the club, we are also not privvy to the discussions which have taken place between Noble and IL, nor are we aware of the research into Maguire which IL conducted or the results he was given. Furthermore, we have no idea whether IL is confident that Noble could not have done any more and Maguire's the right man or if he wakes up in the night in a cold sweat thinking 'oh god, i hope i'm right'.

In short, only IL has all the right data to make an informed dedcision, we don't.
