I think sixth is the best we can do, and that's if we book up are ideas no end.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

We could end up 12th after next week.

I think a more pertinent question would be "what has HE got to lose". There's nothing more sure in sport than a coach getting the sack. At the moment he runs a successful business so why risk that for a fulltime position at wigan?

Didn't know he had a business. All depends on his aspirations then.
At the moment anyone would do TBH.

Can anyone say with hand on heart they feel confident how this team is going to play from one match to the next i have never known such inconsistancy from a team wearing the Wigan shirt.

Yes the players perhaps aren't as good as we think but he's the man who's signed them all. The problem is, who would we get to take over for half a season as i'm sure that's all it would be. I do think we have someone in place for next year.
Will get us to Wembley.
Whether we'll win it, well thats up to the players!

What sort of business does he run ?????
I keep thinking about Shaun possibly not wanting to take over for half a season and all this talk of him having to give up his business.
But is it the sort of business that someone could run for him ??? (e.g a shop or something)
If it is, why not make him an offer that includes paying someone to run his business until the end of the year ???
That way, he could try the full-time coaching gig, most likely improve our team no end from what we're currently seeing/suffering and still have the option to either apply for the full-time position after the season, or step back to running his business and coaching the kids.
It all makes sense to me.
Am I missing something, or just being far too sensible for the game of Rugby League ???

It's something to do with forklifts and possibly warehouse equipment.

There you go then.
Make him an offer that includes employing someone to run the business for 6 months.
What's the problem ????
