GMR/Radio Manchester should never have got rid of their MW channel

I listen to Radio Manchester and am no longer amazed by the 'sports' bulletins... 12 items total, 10 soccer is usual, or 7 total, 5 soccer.

The ordinary presenters talk about it too for no real reason.

TBH I have stopped listening these days as I am sooo annoyed by it !

Guess them losing me as a listener hasnt made one jot of difference

hat's off to george riley on radio 5. the lad is a rugby league fan and makes no secret of it. if he's doing the sports report you've got a more than fair chance of hearing something about league

The ref today is S Ganson

just watched him ref the catalan-salford game. why is he ref for us today? would it not be better to have a ref who`s not had to fly from the south of france?
