O'Carroll and Prescott are great young prospects.

Hansen does nothing fancy but it is likely that Bailey will leave at the end of the season and you need a workmanlike player in your pack just to work in the muck and nettles department.

Feka is only on for 20 minutes at a time but there are other props in Super League who are interchanged at similar intervals and no-one seems to pick up on that. Feka, although didn't have a fantastic game against Les Cats is our main source of go forward along with Hock. I'd say without Feka we'd possibly be further down the league table than we are now.

None of our forward hit the tackle and look to off load. As soon as they are touched they are down.

There are other issues in this team besides the props. The main reason is the winning mentalty we dont seem to have. this gets coached into a team.

So really you want the coach out the door not the players ?

I agree, we have the talent but not the mentality or the motivation collectively it would seem sometimes.

Hock hits the tackle and looks to offload, Paleaaesina gets an offload away if he can and keeps the legs pumping as does Prescott and O'Carroll. Fielden probably makes the least metres of all our forwards. I wish he'd come good.

Like i say, there are other issues.

Coach out and bring someone in who's hungry for it.

Quite a few players out who are simply not Wigan class.

Spot on A&L, that try was created (if i rememberly correctly) by attacking down the left, then switching to ball to the other side of the pitch and finding space on the outside :)

and btw, OP, your right, Gleeson is a good buy

Its pains me watching Fielden. The guys a legend still in my eyes, but he's had his day.

Id give my right arm for the past Fielden.

Graham would live with him.

Fielden - Lost his bottle.
Prescott - Not got the strenght, agression.
Feka - Not onlong enough. Teams seem to be getting used to him.
Coley - Not a prop.
Hock - Would walk in any team. Carrying the pack.
Hansen - Great effort, but cant break a tackle.
O'Carroll - One of our better go forward props.
Riddell - Still miles behind with fitness.
Mccolrum - Liability.

Massive clear out in this list Apart from Hock, id get rid of the lot.

I laughed at this, thought it was a cracking little joke...then I realised you where serious!!!!

Whether you can appreciate it, Hansen runs cracking attacking lines. Players tend to drift laterally when they are about to pass with ball in hand. Nothing wrong with it, unless the reciever is drifting on the same angle.

Hansen hits a ball straight, and hard. If your running away from the guy who is trying to tackle you, then that side of your body is exposed completly, your centre of gravity is high, and if you get hit then you WILL lose metres.

By running straight at a defense, or angles back into them, then he is much harder to tackle, and much less likely to get smashed... I'd draw you a picture, but I can't find my crayons

As pointed out, Prescott and O'carroll are cracking players, and are the future of our pack.

Feka was criticised for being to fat, worked hard on his fitness, now he plays for the same amount of time and gets critisised can't make the same impact.

Riddell doesn't look fit, but in all honesty does KC?

Mccilorum...Liability? where did you get this from?! He has cut out his penaltys and works over time in defense...

Agree with all bar Prescott, Feka and Hansen(by that i mean i also rate Hock and O'Carroll).

Prescott- coming back from long term injury and looked a little jaded at Catalans after a good game against Saints. A good prospect which due to injury is all he still is even at 23.

Feka- awesome game against Saints full of effort but that left him sapped for the Catalans game in which he got little support.

Hansen-does a job the team needs him to do but one of him or Bailey needs swapping for a Lauititi type forward(presume Bailey as he's off contract).

Also i'd say it's too early to judge Riddell. He blows hot and cold abit like the side but as shown me enough to suggest he can still be a very good player for us in a confident team.

He's been virtually unstoppable all year!

23 - 20 - 4

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

I actually think Feka has been your most improved player this year, he seems very keen, esp. next to some of your players
