I think if Smith wakes up and smells the coffee (black, strong, good for hangovers ;)) Then he could still turn into a decent player for Wigan. He has a lot of ball skill, and a good eye, just very little application of it.

The lad really needs to decide to apply himself, or quit Rugby League for good though, especially if he ever wants to get back in the NRL.

Tim Smith is a ball playing half back, he needs runners, he needs options.

At Wigan he has little of either, and ends up looking very average.

He ends up looking average because he is a turnstyle.

Obvious something has gone on, Vouccy keeped of pushing him and he looked a bit guilty, Anderson obviously doesn't rate him and see's him as a distraction within the team.
Do we still send our convicts down under if so will the Eels ask for L. Pryce.

Not sure why so many people are making something of his drinking with Mason, they play for 2 clubs and Parra did not have the same policy as the Roosters.

He was entitled to have a drink when he did so confirming he did is not exactly headline sacking stuff.

I though he came across very well in his inverview as a very articulate and intelligent lad who simply told it like it is, i found it pretty refreshing to be honest.

The long and short of it is DA said he did not see him in his long term plans, Finch clearly has another offer on the table, in SL i would expect and DA has allowed him to walk away. If he did not have another deal lined up he would still be at Parra.

If we could get rid of Smith i would be pretty pleased to recruit Finch.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Something Noble teams don't seem to have a lot of, Smith in the right environment is a top player.

Regards Finch drinking with Mason all day, they'd said they'd only had a few cans at night and parra are allowed. It's not related to him leaving.

It all depends on what you call a few cans, two or maybe a dozen.....
