Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”
As everyone else has said we thought we had Radders for a good few more years.
It was most defiantly the right decision for both parties at the time cause lets not forget we had Ashton set to be the next big thing and he could potentially have taken straight over from Radders had all Kris’s injuries not have occurred.
It’s just one of those instances where we have been terribly unlucky with Radders retiring and Ashton being a toss pot

Problem with Wigan is now we have 3 wingers who people want to start, Pat, Amos and and Ainy. Cos of this we've missing out not having a true FB.
You could say the same about the scrum half slot. We have three hookers, Riddell, McIllorum and TL and as such are not quite as good as we should be at 7 wit TL playing there instead of at 9.

Classic.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

And I totally agree. If Riddell doesn't improve fan could well think it would have been better to have his CAP money added on top of what we had for a new 7, and used Tommy and Mclorum as our 9's.
I think people playing out of position is one of our major issues.
