Once he raised his elbow it was always going to be a no try. It s the thing that infuriates me most about Hock, he is so close to being a top player, but simply lacks a bit of a brain and does not seem to learn from his errors.

I've watched it again a few times and I'm not convinced either way, 50/50 call IMHO.

I agree, Video refs always watch for double movement in slow motion though which is totally pointless.

Excellent performance tonight. Exactly how refs should-be seen and not heard! Ganson should take note that you don’t have to play the big man during the match to have control over it.
Yes he missed some penalties but he missed them for both teams and let the game run. That’s the way RL should be not with pedantic refs blowing their whistle every two mins or so for non consequential penalties like not having two feet behind the line.
