I've just seen some lanky youth in Sainsbury's on Deansgate in Manchester wearing our current shirt. I then got into a panic as to whether the Bradford game was actually tonight instead of tomorrow...

'Strangest' place is probably in Puerto de Pollenca, Majorca a few years ago. A chap wearing a Wigan shirt was being dragged around the markets by his missus one afternoon.

Jack "the Snake" roberts wore a Wigan shirt while he was wrestling a match in New Orleans in 1998. i rememeber watching it on DVD and thinking WTF! Think it was November to Rememeber 98.

found a link to it but will probably get my hands slapped if i post it!

''Oct 28 - Dear Mr Hitman 8976200, I knowledge my glaring error in mis-identifying the Dynamite Kid's accent as cockney instead of Wigan. I am just a confused Canadian and my lack of distinction between the two accents was indeed a glaring error. Thank you for pointing out this glaring error. Now shut the hell up and move on with your life.

Im ashamed to say that was the first Wigan shirt I bought.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

On a train to Parramatta from Sydney. I was wearing my Wigan Patrick spray jacket at the time in 2004. An oldish looking Kiwi said "I am a Wigan fan, I played for them in a Challenge Cup final in 1960's!" - never caught his name though.

Can anyone help?

Also got a few iN Sydney as is expected as well as a Mexican Pool Entertainer at our Hotel in Cancun one year!
