to be fair the atmosphere in the second half was pretty good!
the fans are going to boo if they see a poor performance and are entitled to boo when they see a poor performance, after all who is it who pays the wages? yes the fans buying shirts, tickets etc

sort of self explanatory then eh ?
we should have at least 2 wins now .
i dont expect to win every game , but what i do expect is a performance worthy of the cherry and white shirt

what a retarded thread.
If the players are playing well and the team is winning matches then they will be cheered, if the team is losing games but playing to their best ability then they will still be supported well, but when a team is playing boring uninteresting rugby, losing games and looking uninterested then they are going to be booed, some people need to leave cloud cuckoo land, team morale has naff all to do with anything, the players are payed handsomely to play one game a week, they should be ashamed at the way they perform, especialy those that earn more than £100k a year.
as a category 2 fan i will continue o boo the poop being played at the moment, when they start showing some heart i shall stop booing simple ass

Judas Priest's Tyrant, better than anything The Killers, The Script & The Black Keys could ever come up with
i didnt boo at all end of the day when we start winning games all the fans that was booing and walking out will be cheering all 2 face gits every single one of them. I stopped till the end did not boo and clapped the players off...
So every singe fan that booed and walked out you are not loyal supporters.

Ergo, if you woke up on Christmas morning as a four year old and your parents had not bought you any presents whatsoever, are you telling us that you would have still been in the same cheery mood that you would have been had you received thouands of pounds worth of lavish gifts?

I agree with this.
I don't think I've ever booed Wigan except once when Dennis Moran's name was read out on Easter Monday at the JJB and he was booed by a section of the home crowd
What you come to expect of Wigan is simply the reason why some fans boo. The expectation is so high and it's the expectation which the club has set itself by having an illustrious history.
Such success breeds fickle support really, which is one of few 'cons' as oppose to many 'pros' of being so successful for many years.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.
Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.
think to much is placed on the 'loyalty' and 'quality' of support some people offer as opposed to others
i paid good money for a season ticket, am not getting value for the money - do i then have to stay til the end and applaud any old tosh to be a real fan?
I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league Doom and gloom, doom and gloom
