How much I hope you are right. I fear that the previous poster will prove to be correct however, and Ainscough will be plying his trade elsewhere within 2-3 years.

Well, your crowds are good, I assume you have as much money under the salary cap as anyone else, and your signings fail to ignite year on year, so I'm not sure about the myth part.
