I'd said that in the week leading upto the game because Roberts didn't look fit enough in the Wakey game to be moved to a position where he'd have to do alot more running.

I didn't get why he started there only for us to move Pat there later on and then Goulding.

Nobby needs to pick one on Friday and stick to his call.

I wasn't there on Friday, but can I ask - how was Goulding at fullback?

I think that 95% of Wigan fans would have put Richards at full-back but Noble seems to think differently.

Did well. I can only remember him taking one high bomb but no mistakes.

It's just I had never considered him in that role before. Would free up Noble to play Richards-Carmont-Pryce-Roberts in the threequarters like he wants to in the future if he was any good at it I suppose. Would still rather see him as a regular in the centres tho :?

Apart from the poor attempt at a cover tackle for the last try.

Against Cusack who is a Prop and almost twice as big as Goulding, and he had the angle on him.

In fairness to Noble Roberts came over with a reputation of being a very good fullback. I think I'm right in saying he played a lot of his games at fullback for Sydney. With this is mind he probably wanted to make use of Richards aerial threat which we did during the match.

Can't believe I just stuck up for Brian Noble

He did a great impression of a Richie Mathers turnstile tackle to let in one of Hull's tries.
