I'm 99% certain that Walkabout will be happy to host the event free of charge.

They may well do but is cost the key factor and is that cost not minimal?

It just strikes me the Walkabout is not the most suitable venue for a forum and maybe that suits IL who seems more at home wandering around a room holding a pint.

Yep. That'll be how he built up his multi-million pound business empire.

The day he realises sport cannot be run along pure business lines will be a far better one for Wigan RLFC. Sport is not a business in the pure sense and yes I have spoken to people who dealt with IL and argue he was outstanding in business but have doubt about his approach to running Wigan RLFC.

Still lets kiss his behind eh Cruncher

Your previous comment was pants, pal. You don't know the guy yet feel free to rip into him, even at a personal level, every chance you get. And of course, anyone who doesn't agree with you is kissing his ar2e, eh?

This is the chairman of Wigan RL you're talking about, not some scrote who's done the dirty on you.

Some stuff you post is okay - I agree with it. But this anti-IL hobby horse you're on is a complete joke.

You'd be able to get beer at most venues though wouldn't you?

It's quite a big place, it has a stage..the only thing is there won't be many places to sit. But then again they ran out of seats at the last fans forum in the SS bar. I suppose they might have it downstairs though.

I imagine using Walkabout is something to do with their renewed sponsorship of the cheerleaders.

I can see it being held upstairs with Lenagan, Noble and Hogan being sat behind a table on the stage.

So being the Chairman of Wigan RL gives him some rank does it. I guess that applied to Whelan and Lindsay before too. I am not interested in what he has or has not achieved in his business life. Wigan RLFC is the only things that concerns me and right now there are damn more questions than answers so maybe it is a good thing some of us do not give people a free ride simply because of position.

Do you think Wigan RLFC reflects well on IL ?

Personally I amconcerned how we can develop systems of play etc when key players are not even at the club. Off Field. The less said. Just calling it as I see it. Nothing personal.

How many can it hold Alex? Is there a large open space, seating available?

It can hold a good few hundred but I don't have an idea of a convenient capacity for something like this.

It has near enough no seating apart from the odd couch and bench. I presume that they'll just hire or borrow some school-type chairs or make people stand.
